This leading international 1st tier European contractor with operations around the globe and responsible for some of the world’s major infrastructure projects now requires an experienced Plant Manager for their new $800m infrastructure project in Kuwait.

Based in Kuwait City and reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing or renting where economically viable of all plant which ranges from heavy earth moving equipment to mobile generators. You will also be responsible for ensuring the supply of spare parts, the preventative maintenance programs and training to ensure all mechanics & operators are fully versed in their equipment.

To qualify for this position, you will have at least 20 years experience gained from working on large infrastructure projects with a leading 1st tier international contractor. You will be fully up to speed with the latest plant & equipment, models and makes. You will be a qualified mechanic along with the relevant HSE qualification. You will be an excellent communicator with ability to communicate at all levels and effectively manage your team. Experience of working in the Middle East is favourable but not essential.
